Scan the wallet before you send USDT.
USDT Guard Scan checks a TRON wallet or USDT TRC20 transaction for sanctions exposure, mixer activity and other on-chain risk. TRON transfers cannot be undone, so the safest time to check is before you pay or accept funds.

Questions about USDT wallet scans
Scanning, scores, sanctions, scams and how USDT Guard Scan works.
What is USDT Guard Scan?
USDT Guard Scan is a wallet scanner for USDT on the TRON network. It checks a TRC20 wallet or transaction for AML risk, sanctions exposure and mixer activity and returns a 0–100 risk score and a report. The first scan is free; each scan after that is $1.
Should I scan a wallet before sending USDT?
It is a good habit for large or first-time transfers. A scan shows whether the receiving wallet has sanctions, mixer or other risk links, so you can decide before the funds leave your account. Transfers on TRON cannot be reversed.
How do I check a USDT TRC20 address?
Paste the address, which starts with T, into the scanner at the top of the page and press Run AML Scan. Most results are ready within a few seconds.
What does the risk score mean?
The score runs from 0 to 100. A low score means no flagged patterns were found in the analyzed transactions. A higher score points to exposure such as sanctions links, mixers, scams or dark market activity, and the report lists which ones.
Is the first scan really free?
Yes. Your first scan returns a full report at no cost and does not need a card. After that, each scan is a flat $1.
How much does a scan cost?
$1 per scan after the free first one, pay as you go, with no subscription. API access and bulk screening have separate volume pricing. Contact us for a quote.
Do I need to connect my wallet?
No. USDT Guard Scan only reads public blockchain data. You never connect a wallet, and the service will never ask for a private key or seed phrase. Be wary of any site that does.
Which tokens and networks are covered?
The scanner is built for the TRON network and covers USDT TRC20, native TRX and other TRC20 tokens. Their flows are analyzed together as part of one wallet's transaction graph.
Why is USDT on TRON the focus?
Much of the world's USDT payment and transfer activity runs on TRON because fees are low and transfers are quick. The same traits make it attractive for moving funds fast, so checking the other side of a transfer is worthwhile.
Can a scan tell me if an address is a scam?
A scan flags links to known scams, thefts, sanctions and mixers where they appear in the data. A clean result does not prove a counterparty is honest, because new scam wallets have no history yet. Treat the score as one input.
Does a low score guarantee a wallet is safe?
No. A low score means nothing flagged was found in the data analyzed. New wallets, new risks and gaps in coverage are always possible, so pair the scan with your own judgment and, for business use, your compliance policy.
What if the wallet is new and has no history?
A brand-new wallet has little to analyze, so the scan will report a limited history rather than a risk. For large amounts, consider asking the counterparty for more information or sending a small test amount first.
Can it detect address poisoning?
Address poisoning relies on look-alike addresses in your history, which a risk scan does not target. Always compare the full address before sending, then scan the exact address you pasted to see its risk profile.
Can I scan a transaction hash?
Yes. Paste a TRON transaction hash and the scan evaluates the sending and receiving addresses involved, including USDT TRC20 transfers.
How long does a scan take?
Most wallets finish within a few seconds. Wallets with very large histories can take longer for a full graph trace. The PDF report is created in the same step.
What is in the report?
The wallet address and network, the 0–100 score, a breakdown by category, the sanctions result, the mixer result, a summary of transaction flow and a timestamp. It downloads as PDF or JSON.
How does sanctions screening work?
The wallet and counterparties found in its transaction graph are matched against sanctions and watchlist data, including major government lists such as OFAC. Reports say whether exposure is direct or indirect.
What is direct versus indirect exposure?
Direct exposure means the scanned address itself appears on a list. Indirect exposure means it has dealt, at some distance, with a listed entity somewhere in the analyzed graph.
Does the scan detect mixers?
It looks for on-chain patterns typical of mixing and obfuscation on TRON and follows exposure through the wider graph, so indirect links can show up as well as direct transfers.
What should I do after a high-risk result?
Read the factors behind the score, then act under your own policy: pause the transfer, ask the counterparty for an explanation, or decline. A high score is a risk signal, not a legal finding.
Is this useful for P2P and OTC trades?
Yes. Scanning the counterparty's wallet before a trade helps you spot sanctions or mixer exposure early, and the saved report shows that you did the check.
Can merchants use it for incoming payments?
Yes. Businesses that accept USDT can scan the paying wallet before crediting an order, either by hand or automatically through the API.
Can I automate scans with an API?
Yes. A REST API handles single addresses and batches and returns JSON. Contact us for documentation and a key.
Can I scan many addresses at once?
Yes. Bulk screening accepts a list by CSV upload or through the API. Volume plans give a lower price per scan.
How does wallet monitoring work?
Monitoring watches a wallet for new activity. If it sends to or receives from a flagged address, you get an alert by email or webhook.
Who uses USDT Guard Scan?
Exchanges, payment processors, OTC desks, P2P traders, merchants who accept TRC20 payments, and individuals who want to verify a counterparty before a large transfer.
Can I use reports for compliance records?
Reports contain details commonly kept in due diligence files: address, network, score with breakdown, sanctions status and a timestamp. Requirements differ by jurisdiction, so confirm with your compliance advisor.
Does it follow FATF guidance?
Report categories follow the kinds of risk factors used in FATF-style virtual asset guidance, such as sanctions exposure, mixer usage and high-risk counterparties. It supports due diligence but does not replace your own compliance program.
Does it help with the Travel Rule?
The Travel Rule requires VASPs to share originator and beneficiary details on transfers above a threshold. Enterprise plans can support Travel Rule workflows for TRON VASPs handling USDT. Contact us for details.
Can it tell me if USDT will be frozen?
No tool can predict a freeze. The scan surfaces risk signals, such as sanctions or mixer links, that raise compliance concerns, but it cannot say whether funds will or will not be frozen by anyone.
Can I scan smart contracts and DeFi wallets?
You can scan wallets that use TRON DeFi protocols. For contract addresses, the report focuses on counterparty risk based on the wallets that funded or used the contract.
How far back does the history go?
The graph uses on-chain TRON data across the wallet's history, so older wallets can be traced too. Very large or very old wallets may take longer.
Is my scan history private?
Results are tied to your account and are not published. The service analyzes publicly available blockchain data.
Where do the live rates and the USDT peg figure come from?
The rate bar under the scanner uses the public CoinGecko API and refreshes while the page is open. The peg figure shows how far the USDT price is from $1. Both are for reference and do not affect risk scores.
